Have a project in mind?

My background sits between several worlds: art, anthropology, sales, engineering, and product design. I’ve never managed to keep them separate, so they tend to inform one another. I study how people behave and what shapes their choices, and I try to translate those observations into interfaces.

Adaptive Interfaces
I’m exploring ways interfaces can shift based on what a person is doing instead of staying fixed in one layout. A lot of my work looks at timing, context, and how subtle changes in state can help someone understand what’s happening without extra effort. The goal is to make products feel responsive without being distracting.

AI-Assisted Workflows
Lately I’ve been focused on how AI can support the “messy middle” of creative and product work—those in-between steps where people make decisions, compare options, or need gentle guidance. I’m interested in workflows that keep the human in control while letting the system handle pattern-matching and tedious setup. It’s less about automation and more about clearing mental space.

Model-Driven Design
I’m experimenting with ways that prediction models and signals can shape the structure of an interface. Instead of designing static screens, I’m trying to think in loops: input, pattern, model output, UI shift. It’s a different mindset—one where the system behaves a little more like a living thing, adjusting as it learns.

Prompt Engineering
I’m using prompt design as a way to better understand how AI interprets intention, context, and small wording cues. Most of my experiments revolve around shaping reasoning, not just generating text. It’s become a useful tool for both building prototypes and sharpening how I communicate ideas more clearly.

CalArts Brand New Brand was a multi-stage brand identity design project from startup conception to full visual identity. The goal was to invent a fictional start-up, build its narrative and personality, and translate those ideas into a cohesive brand system - from brand strategy and storytelling to creative ideation and visual research, typography manipulation and logo design, to creating visual systems and digital interfaces.
